My Travel Story

Healthcare is something that should be achievable to everyone, no matter their income class or geographic location. I am a Bioinformatics Major at the University of California: San Diego. Originally from Kentucky, I am learning new things about myself and others during my first year of college. I am excited to travel to Bolivia to participate in a volunteer pediactic health internship and provide care to those that need it. It is my aspiration to become a doctor, and I think this will be a great opportunity to learn more about the field!
