My Travel Story

This is a program offered by my college as an opportunity for students to have a getaway from the material world we are living in now. It allows students to be in more contacted with nature and help out low-income communities at the same time, experiencing a different lifestyle and living condition. There will be all kinds of activities for students to help such as fixing the roof, setting up the basic structure of a house, and many other things that can't be experienced in the city. Living with the locals will also be a very rewarding experience because it creates a stronger bond with people around me and learns new perspectives on the meaning of life. I am excited about this trip because I would be my first time going to a not big city and to fully engage in the trip and the activities it has to offer. I am looking forward to making new friends with people along the trip and also the local people.
