My name is Sakher Hamouda, and I am from Gaza. My family is my world: my beloved pregnant wife Somaia, me, and our innocent unborn baby.

I write to you today with a heavy heart, after days and nights of agonizing over this decision. Our lives have been turned into a living nightmare. The unrelenting war has left us with nothing but fear, destruction, and despair.

For over 180 days, we have endured illness, unbearable cold, gnawing hunger, and the terror of drinking contaminated water. Each day is a battle for survival. My wife Somaia's pregnancy is in grave danger due to the extreme conditions we are facing.

We have no access to proper medical care, no food to sustain us, and no safe place to call home. Every moment is filled with dread, knowing that the next attack could be our last.

I am begging for your urgent help. Your generous donations will be our lifeline, helping us to evacuate from Gaza to a place where my wife can receive the medical care she desperately needs, and where our unborn baby can come into this world safely.

The money we raise will be used to cover the costly travel expenses, secure a safe shelter, provide urgent medical treatment for Somaia, and meet our basic needs until we can rebuild our lives.
