2019 Trip To Kenya With
African Adventures
Back in 2017 some Year 11 girls from St Edmunds Girls school, embarked on their journey to Nakuru in Kenya for a trip of a life time. 
I have now been given the opportunity to follow in their footsteps and carry on the amazing work that African Adventures do. I am looking for help to fund my travel in July 2019.

Humanitarian support in the form of volunteers 
Supply resources for buliding work

My Role as a Volunteer
Teach or assist teachers with lessons for children aged 3 -17
Help with delivery  of sports/PE sessions
Spend time playing games and engaging with the children
Buliding and renovating- classrooms, kitchens, toilet blocks & social spaces
Light manual labour
Supervised by local tradespeople

I am so looking forward to this life changing experience. Seeing life in a different culture and having a chance to really make a difference. I feel this trip will give me the opportunity to broaden my horizons for the future and in the career path I choose to take. It will enchance my personal development by letting me see the different ways of life through their day to day activities.
I have always said I would love to travel, what better waqy to kick the journey. I really feel passionate about helping others who are less fortunate than myself, I am so excited to be given the chance to make a difference no matter how big or small.
