Last year, I was lucky enough to be a part of my dear friend's surprise engagement. Her and her lovely now fiancée are from Wales. He planned a trip for them to NYC proposing to her atop the Empire State Building. As they enjoyed a slice for lunch the next day, I wandered in to the pizzeria surprising her to congratulate them in person. It all worked out perfectly and was one of the best days/weekends I've ever had. 

This May they are getting married in Wales, and there is nothing more I would love than to be there. I am a disabled single mom, so travel, which is in my top 3 most important things in my life, has unfortunately moved to the bottom of my budgetary list because of well, life. 

The older I get, the more I'm constantly reminded of how important time with friends and loved ones is. I want to live a life in the world and not one in a phone. No matter my disability, pain, or life circumstances. 

If there's anything you can spare I appreciate it. I will just stay long enough to attend the wedding and help the day before because of my budget. I know such a short trip for such a long journey is crazy, but good friends are hard to find, and worth it.
