My Travel Story

In the summer of 2024, I and a group of other students will be going to Kenya to work with a local school, enriching the school environment and helping with the education of children for whom the cost of education might otherwise be out of reach. The school is set up by a local community to give children the chance of a better future. We will also have the opportunity to experience what life is like in a very different culture and community to our own.

I'm anticipating that this will have a profound impact on how I look at the world and those living in different circumstances to mine which is why I'm so passionate about this project.

Between now and July 2024, I am aiming to raise money to fund this once in a life time opportunity by carrying out various fundraising events (details to follow) which I know will also positively influence my personal development.
