Hello Everyone! I have created this page to share my upcoming opportunity!

My name is Yeosub Yang. I have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad in the Netherlands starting from this Summer 2020. I have served in the military for the past two years, and I just got released. Now I am working as a part-time substitute teacher teaching little students.

I have been longing to study abroad in the Netherlands ever since I entered college. I have participated in many voluntary organizations that educate underprivileged people. Now I have finally won the dream and got accepted to the program at the Leiden. I cannot wait to learn new things about their education and take in the different cultural perspectives.

This experience will help me tremendously to not only earn experiences but also give me insights for my plan in the future. There are still many people seeking education all over the world. To make the world better, people should get educated. One day, I will make an educational organization for the refugees and underprivileged people and I believe my experiences abroad will guide me in making such an organization.

Now I finally have the chance to study abroad that has always been on my mind; unfortunately, the cost of the program is very high, and I will not be able to afford to participate without financial assistance. The total trip cost is approximately $6,000. This includes airfare, tuition, books, food, local transportation, and personal expenses. I have saved a portion from working as a substitute teacher, and I am in the process of applying for scholarships to help offset the costs. I am also planning to search vacancy (part-time job) while I study in the Netherlands, but I cannot guarantee that I will receive enough to cover all the expenditures.

Being able to travel and learn information that I am passionate about is an opportunity many people may not get. I am very blessed to have this opportunity.
