As someone who has never been outside the United States while pursing an education that may one day help me become a doctor, I've had a hard time finding finding that perfect opportunity for an educational and enriching experience. I am limited in both time and money but I'll make the most of something when I can. So when I found the perfect summer study abroad program, I couldn't resist. I am passionate about the natural sciences and medicine is no exception. The way the program highlights both the academic and interactive aspects of medicine is perfect to help me gain personal experience in the field. This will not only contribute to my personal growth as an individual but also bring me one step closer toward my career.
