My girlfriend and I moved from Utah to East Texas to work for a friend of mine of 7 years.

He promised us the world. He said her and I would be able to spend plenty of time together. He said I would make plenty of money. He told me and 3 of our other close friends that have known him for 15-18 years. 

All 4 of us moved to East Texas to work for him and that's when the sociopathic behavior began...

He knew we all had spent all our money to move and get new places and upend our entire lives and families. He knew we trusted him. He knew we would work really hard and make him a lot of money.

Within days he started claiming we would not be able to take time off and see our families. He started taking money out of our checks. He started threatening our jobs if we didn't comply with whatever he requested us to do even if it was illegal. 

He knew we didn't have the means to fight against any of this and that we needed the money right now. He knew we didn't have options and that jobs were scarce in this area.

He had me working a job that was 8 hours away from home and didn't allow any home time for 2 months straight.

Whenever I requested days off he said I would just be fired. 

He wrote me up, 1st, 2nd, & Final warning all on the same day for "asking for days off again for the last time".

I finally drove the truck home and quit and spent some quality time with my girlfriend. 

I've been applying to multiple jobs and she & I finally got separate jobs starting on Monday Dec. 9th but she needs to leave east Texas on Dec. 20th to get to Los Angeles, CA by Dec. 23rd. so she can cook for the entire family for the next few days.

If she leaves on the 25th, after Christmas festivities, she can be back in east Texas and working on the 28th.

So that would be the 20th-27th she would need off for Christmas and the travel time.

I'm looking for any sort of financial assistance to make that happen for her because she definitely deserves it.
