My Travel Story

Hi there, I'm a fourth-year student majoring in mathematics at the University of Calgary in Canada. The organization, International Volunteer HQ has approved me to teach abroad in Arusha, Tanzania! I've dreamed of going overseas to help kids who are less fortunate than myself since I was a little girl. I believe that helping those in need is the greatest thing one can do with their life. That's why I'm extremely grateful to be given the chance to go overseas and work in Arusha's schools, where the majority of the time there are a lot of students and not enough teachers. Finding images for this campaign was diffiucult for me, it breaks me to see these children living in poverty, I would do anything to help them.

Travelling abroad is not cheap. In addition to being a full-time student, I work two part-time jobs to help pay for this trip. Any amount given would be extremely appreciated.
