My Travel Story

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for your support and understanding during a challenging time in my life.

As some of you may know, I have been studying here in Kenya, and my journey is coming to an end as I'll be done with my studies next week. However, I encountered an unfortunate incident that has thrown a wrench in my plans. Just a few weeks ago, I was mugged in Nairobi. Thankfully, I am physically unharmed, but it has left me in a tough financial situation.

I had hoped to return home to Zimbabwe to attend my dear brother's wedding, which is on the 14th of August. However, due to the incident, I missed the opportunity to change my ticket three weeks ago, and now my ticket carries a significant penalty that I cannot afford on my own. (See Images)

This is where I am humbly seeking your help. I need to raise the funds required to cover the penalty and change my ticket so that I can make it to my brother's special day. The amount I need to raise is $120 USD.

I understand that times are tough for many of us, and it's not easy to ask for financial assistance. However, I promise to do my best to pay back to those who wish so for any help I receive once I am back on my feet. I am actively seeking employment opportunities in Zimbabwe, and I am optimistic that things will improve soon.

Here's how you can contribute to my campaign:
- You can donate directly through this FundMyTravel campaign (link provided below).
- If you're unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your network would also mean the world to me.

I genuinely cherish the opportunity to be present at my brother's wedding, and your support would make it possible for me to share in this joyous occasion with my family.

I'm incredibly grateful for your time, consideration, and any assistance you can provide. Your support means more to me than words can express. If you have any questions or wish to know more about my situation, please don't hesitate to reach out.

With heartfelt thanks and warmest regards,

Ndowa
