My Travel Story

Hi everyone!
My name is Katie and I’m a struggling sophomore in high school. I have applied to wildlife summer programs this year to help me determine my path in college. For now, I’m not certain about my future, but these summer programs are a unique opportunity for career exploration and I hope I can find my path through exposure to different fields. I have always adored animals, and I wish to educate others on the importance of conservation and hopefully inspire appreciation among people for the diverse species here on planet earth. After all, humans are an amazing species too! I want to travel around the world because it connects me with different people outside of my home country. Communicating with varieties of people and exposing myself to unfamiliar environments will not only shape my character, but also challenge my thinking mind. I hope these programs will provide me with positive experiences so I can apply what I learn to help others. I have never traveled outside of the US before, but I hoping to change that this summer!
