Hello reader, so glad you found my campaign! Welcome to my story 

Since I've been a small girl I've always loved mythology. The idea of goddesses and gods that had connection to nature and art and could and would help human beings in their journey has always made me believe in a better changing world. As I grew up the love for these stories only become more passionate and the longing for lands I've never seen stronger. There are many gods and myths, but the Greek Mythology does it for me! I have found inspiration for daily life in the focus, determination and stamina of goddess Artemis. I have sipped wine and thought how much fun Dionysus much of had. And as planted trees and plants I've wondered how they both would of made it all grow even more beautifully. The goddess Persephone with the story of living 6months in the underworld and 6months in the "regular world" has made me accept my mental health better, as it reminds me I don't need to be the same everyday all day. I can change as the seasons and my needs change. And Asclepius, Iaso and Apollo that were great healers and remind me I am on the right path for myself and I can become better and better therapist. 

In sum I've been lucky to find a safe harbour in the mythology, making my life more benevolent... 

I am soon to be 29 years old and this is my trip to myself. My first ever big trip. 

I live and grew up in the island of Madeira, Portugal a beautiful paradise place. Have worked and studied to become a massage therapist and help others. But as you may (or not) know minimum wage in Portugal is very low - only this year it become 860€. And our housing is extremely high, the 5th highest in Europe specialists say.
With these both realities crashing on each other it hasn't been easy to imagine or live more than a fixed routine of home - work - home - work. A day a day of survival. On one hand, travelling for me hasn't been easy or duable. On the other hand the ponding heart beat of desiring to travel has become louder and louder. Until some months ago I said 'fuck it, I'm gonna take a risk and go!' If something bad happens at least I jumped. And hopefully I will fly!!! 

And of course no other place had me wined over, or would make sense for a 1st journey, than Greece! 

Atheens, Ithaca, Paros and so many others it's hard to choose! And it's so damm exhilarating - I am finally going !!! 

By my story I imagine now you've got why I need some help making this journey. Buying the ticket has taken a lot of reducing expenses to the basic needs and rent only, while there isn't much I can save up in time of the travel. 

So I write my heart out hoping you can feel me and want to help me too
