My Travel Story
My name is Samuel T. Barica, and I’m from Slovakia. I’ve always been fascinated by the rich culture, traditions, and beauty of Japan. For years, I’ve dreamed of visiting this incredible country—not just as a tourist, but to truly immerse myself in a culture so different from my own, to learn, grow, and gain new perspectives.
Life in Slovakia has been meaningful, but lately, I’ve felt the need to step away from my daily routine and explore the world beyond my comfort zone. Traveling to Japan is more than just a trip for me—it’s an opportunity to recharge, find inspiration, and embrace new experiences that will shape who I am.
I want to walk the streets of Kyoto, visit ancient temples, taste authentic Japanese cuisine, and connect with people whose lives and traditions are so different from mine. This journey will help me appreciate diversity, broaden my horizons, and return home with stories and lessons that I can share with my community.
