My Travel Story

I am a SA survivor and last year I left an emotionally abusive relationship. It was a hard decision but my mental health could not take the abuse anymore. I suffered from depression and chronic stress after the breakup. I was so depressed and did not see the meaning of life I suffered from CPTSD.  I turned 30 last year and had no one to celebrate it with, and my mom kicked me out the house after my dog got sick. It was a stressful and depressing time.

My birthday is coming up next month and I actually want to celebrate it by traveling and reminding myself of the beauty of life. I want to start this birthday with good energy and a mental reset, which is what traveing does for me.

I have gotten out of the depression and finally appreciate all the joys of life! This trip will be the first trip I am taking in 2 years I honestly did not know how it was going to happen,but I heard about his site. I appreciate that there are still good people out there. This is my first time putting myself out there and asking for help again.
