In 2023 I am taking part in a once in a lifetime opportunity with some fellow students from Gillingham School to volunteer myself to help with a school in Zanzibar, Africa.
The schools in that region are massively underfunded and under staffed,ultimately affecting the children's ability to access necessary education.
 These volunteering roles are completely self funded and as a result I am trying to raise funds to help offset the expense. I have devised a personal physical challenge inspired the Jurassic Coast Challenge and plan to cover 53km or 33miles from West Bay to Lulworth Cove in just one day in April 2023.
  This is going to be a massive leap for me as an individual and feel that educating myself in other cultures and societies will be hugely beneficial for me.
