My name is Maghia, and I’m reaching out to share a dream that has been close to my heart for many years. I have an incredible opportunity to travel to the Canary Islands to visit the colonial house where my grandmother was born. This historic home, dating back to the 1800s, is not just a building—it's a key part of my family's story, interwoven with memories and tales from both my grandmother’s and my grandfather’s families. This trip is about discovering my roots, reconnecting with my heritage, and sharing the story of where I come from.

Why This Journey Matters to Me
For generations, my family has passed down stories of the old colonial house in the Canary Islands. It’s a place filled with history, where my grandmother grew up and where our ancestors built their lives. The house also holds significance for my grandfather’s family, adding another layer of connection and meaning. The past few years have been incredibly challenging. Due to some complications while crossing from Mexico to the U.S., I was involved in an accident that left my van damaged. This incident has taken a financial toll on me, making it even harder to save for this trip. Despite these setbacks, my desire to reconnect with my family’s roots remains strong. I believe this journey is important not just for me, but for preserving our family's legacy and sharing it with the next generation.
