My Travel Story

This trip is extremely meaningful for me. I lost my sister 6 years ago due to complications that she had with Prader-Willi. Despite her disabilities and challenges she was adventurous and loved life. Her joy came from watching others do the things that she could not. She lived vicariously through me with my children being like my her own and loving my husband and best friends like they were her best friends and he was her blood brother. She could never have those things and could not travel. After coming out of depression after her passing I vowed that I would honor her by doing the things she loved and visiting places she always wanted to go to. My husband graciously encouraged me to take a trip with my two best friends who my sister loved dearly as her own best friends, I also have not been apart from my kids in 12 years, as refreshment for myself and in celebration of her life. I would like to raise $2,000 for my trip to cover the expenses of the trip as well as plane tickets so as not to burden my husband with the expense.
