My Travel Story

This upcoming semester I am fortunate to have the opportunity to attend classes in Spanish at la Universidad Casa Grande in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I will be living and studying in Ecuador for nearly four months from August to December of 2022!
This trip is a once-in-a-lifetime growth and learning opportunity for me! My goals include intensive Spanish language immersion and continued progress toward my sociology and anthropology degree (graduating in May 2023). I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to expand on my Spanish language skills and experience a culture completely different from my own. 
I have been preparing by educating myself on local culture and practicing my Spanish. Currently, I am working two jobs plus babysitting and dogsitting in order to pay for my upcoming trip. However, I need some help to make up the rest of the money I will need for travel and living expenses during my time abroad. 
Some of my expenses include my airfare, room and board, health insurance, travel insurance, orientation fee, school texts, passport renewal, and transportation. 
Any amount of financial help towards my goal will really go a long way for me and would mean the world to me!
