Study Abroad promoting youth development in Costa Rica
My Travel Story
On my Costa Rica study abroad I want to learn about global citizenship because it entails respecting universal values such as peace, sustainability, and defending the human rights and dignity of others. I will develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values about Costa Ricans and their way of life. 'Pura Vida' or 'simple life' is an emotion, an attitude, and a way of life. I want to impact some young lives of the Costa Rican children and build a relationship with the community.
I hate asking for handouts so please please don't feel obligated. College is expensive and I am not expecting a lot, I just figured I could try!

About Me!
Here is some more about me! I am a developmental family science major with a concentration in Child Development. I also added a minor in Psychological Sciences. I worked really hard so I could graduate with my bachelors in 3 years. This study abroad is my final project for graduation, so I wanted to make it memorable! I partake in research on my college campus and I have a passion for helping others. Early childhood is such an important life stage for everyone regardless of where you were born. I was blessed to be born in American and given these opportunities. I want to use them to impact children of the world! This is a picture of me doing another one of my passions, theater! I also love dogs, I have 3 at home, and I care so deeply about my friends and family. Even if you cannot donate I appreciate you taking any amount of time to help. ?>
