Hi, my name is Johanna. I recently graduated from college with my bachelor's in Psychology and now that I have more time, I want to do as much volunteer work before I begin another program. I want to participate in the 6 weeks Childcare Volunteer Abroad Project offered by PlanMyYearGap; I babysit every now and then and enjoy it, as well as taking care of my nephews living in my household so as soon as I saw childcare volunteering, I thought I could offer my experience to this program. Although there are many destinations offered, I'm choosing Sri Lanka, India and Bali because I'm very interested in their cultures, especially India, also because I want to be part of the India Disabled Children Project. I hope to provide care and affection to children during this program and hopefully make a difference in their lives.
