My Travel Story

We are Carolina Arévalo and Jeferson Tovar, we are two young Colombian professionals in International Business and Industrial Engineering respectively, we live in Bogotá. Throughout our academic life we ​​have crossed some economic needs, fortunately with family support and some credits we managed to obtain our bachelor degrees.

We know that education is a process that never ends and less for those who know how to take advantage of it and enjoy every opportunity that presents. We want to continue studying and we have always dreamed of traveling abroad, especially to Australia. We deeply wish to travel next year in order to study English language (to subsequently apply for graduate scholarships in foreign countries) and of course work to pay for expenses.

However, we do not have all the resources to undertake the trip and cover some expenses. At the moment we have paid the tuition for the course, but there are still some costs like;

- Student visa = 620 AUD (approx. Each)
- Medical exams = 320 AUD (approx. Each)
- Biometric Data = 65 AUD (approx. Each)
- Medical insurance (for seven months) = 370 AUD (approx. Each)
- Some additional costs for visa procedures (translation of documents) = 218 AUD (approx. Each)
- Air tickets = 1700 AUD (approx. Each)
- Economic solvency for the first month while we manage to use = 2038 AUD (approx. For both)

Reason why, we resort to this platform with the confidence that we will reach those who support this initiative and allow us to fulfill this wonderful dream of traveling to the other side of the world to improve our living conditions, our opportunities and abilities as professionals.
