Hi, my name is Nguyen Mai Lan, and I am a civil architecture student in my final year. My dream is to develop safer, more resilient infrastructure to protect communities from flooding—something I witnessed firsthand growing up in Vietnam.

Why This Matters
Flooding is a devastating issue, destroying homes and livelihoods every year. Through my studies, I’ve learned that better infrastructure can save lives. My goal is to graduate and use my skills to design sustainable, flood-resistant solutions for vulnerable areas like my hometown.

Why I Need Your Support
My father passed away when I was young, and my mother became the sole breadwinner, working tirelessly to support my education. She sacrificed so much to give me the chance to study abroad. Now, as she retires and my sister also needs financial support for her education, I don’t want to add to her burden.

This fundraiser will go 100% toward my tuition fees, ensuring I can complete my degree and turn my dream into reality.
