I am a Sophomore in college with a Spanish major. I am currently being raised by a single mother so funds are sparse. This study abroad program is a once in a lifetime experience. To be able to fully immerse myself in the Spanish language and culture would be the most beneficial to my future career as a Spanish translator. I am thoroughly passionate about this program is because I am extremely curious about viewing the world from a different set of eyes. Knowing the language and knowing the culture straight from a native would allow me to connect more effectively with other spanish speakers.
