My Travel Story

I am writing to share an incredible journey my family is about to embark on. We are a family of seven with Strabismus (Eye Misalignment), filled with anticipation and excitement, as we prepare to travel across the country to connect with a long-lost relative—a connection I recently discovered that has brought immense joy and hope into our lives.

For years, our family has felt a void, an unspoken longing to complete our family story. Recently, through a series of unexpected events, I discovered a relative we never knew existed. This revelation has sparked an indescribable excitement and a deep emotional connection that we are eager to explore. Meeting this relative for the first time is not just a chance for us to expand our family, but to bridge a gap that has existed for far too long.

Our journey will take us to the vibrant historical sites of Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia, enriching our children with the stories and lessons of our nation’s past while simultaneously forging new familial bonds. From the historic forts and beautiful coastlines of Florida to the soulful music heritage of Tennessee and the rich civil rights history in Georgia, this trip will be an educational adventure that we hope will leave lasting memories and bring a deeper appreciation for our shared history.

However, as a family of seven, this journey is a considerable undertaking. We are humbly seeking support to help make this dream a reality. The costs associated with travel, accommodation, and historical tours are substantial. Any assistance we receive will go directly towards ensuring that our children not only meet a piece of their heritage but also gain a rich educational experience.

This trip represents more than just a vacation; it is a pilgrimage to connect with our past and to build a stronger future for our children.
