My mother was born in Cambodia and she migrated to America at age 4 due to the Cambodian genocide and hasn't returned since. We are visiting the homeland for the first time where my parents will be renewing their vows. After honorably discharging from the United States Navy I have not returned home to be with my family and chose to live with my partner and we started a family. I miss my family dearly and we'd love to go with them on this trip with them but funding this trip is very costly especially with having a 6mo old attach to our hip lol. With that being said this trip is very important to me and I want to support my parents and be with them again!
