Hello friends, family, and kind strangers —

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my fundraising initiative. For my final winter semester, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to travel abroad to Cuba as part of a school-sanctioned study program. This isn’t just a trip, it’s a chance to immerse myself in a culture rich with history, resilience, and artistry, while earning credit toward completing my degree.

Unfortunately, the financial burden of tuition, travel, and living expenses has made it difficult for me to take full advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. That’s why I’m asking for your help.

While in Cuba, I plan to create a short documentary capturing the voices and stories of the people I meet; their everyday lives, struggles, and triumphs. My goal is to share authentic perspectives that often go unheard, and to remind us all how connected we are across borders.
