My Travel Story

Our program is called “Special Topics in Graphic Design,” which will take participants through an intensive study program in Seoul, South Korea. The game plan is to immerse ourselves in the world of media and design with a global approach. Our goal is to study and understand the intersection of culture design and media, especially when it comes to advertising.

I hope to allow this program to build on my experience in visual design gained through my education and expand it into fields I have not explored as fully. As someone who has mainly worked in audio and video-based projects, exploring how design is utilized in print media and the like will help me round out my skillset and prepare me for whatever careers await me after my educational experience.

I also hope to use the opportunity to immerse myself in the culture and pop culture of South Korea to make me a more globally connected individual. Travel and cultural exchange are my biggest motivations and have made me who I am today.
