My Travel Story

I am seeking a transformational experience this summer (2020) in Los Angeles, California seeking an internship with a reputable talent agency, movie production studio, or management company. 

I first visited Los Angeles in Januar 2019 where I instantly fell in love with the city and my passion for writing has flourished ever since. After completing multiple screenplays, I am currently fundraising so that I may get hands-on experience while continuing my education to finish my Bachelor's Degree in the Fall of 2020 at The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, I hope to move to Los Angeles full time.
So why should you care? Well quite simply, I love what I do and do what I do for the benefit of others. The stories I tell are not only my own stories but stories of others from different backgrounds of my own. My stories are made to inspire others to take action by shedding light on social and economic issues facing our country today.
As a full-time student currently enrolled in 19 credit hours, it has been tough for me to work enough to support myself with basic living expenses but also saving money for this trip. While I do have a savings established, this will not be nearly enough for me to complete my trip. That is why I am asking for your help.
Housing will be my biggest obstacle when it comes to securing an internship in Los Angeles. My current plan is to stay in a long term Airbnb (roughly $850-$1,100) per month not including laundry, parking, and other expenses.
While also completing my internship, I plan on working driving for Lyft as I do currently to cover expenses I may not be able to save for as well. Through your generosity, you will be taking a burden off my shoulders as I will get to focus more on my experiences and not needing to work as many hours over the course of the summer.
