My Travel Story

To thank the people who helped and supported me through a psychological hell, who were always by my side, encouraged me, and listened to me, and to overcome my disability (moderate but preventing me from completing this pilgrimage on foot), I decided to fight against fate and complete it by electric bike, starting from Orval Abbey (in Belgium) to Santiago de Compostela. The round trip will be approximately 3,800 kilometers, and I'm scheduled to depart in May 2026.
I'm currently training with a Dutch bike, however, I'm experiencing physical limitations and I also want to intensify my training.
If I can acquire this electric bike, I will donate my Dutch bike to a woman who needs it.
Through this journey, I would like to show my family and friends that thanks to their unwavering support, life has gone on, and continues to go on, and that with a valiant heart, nothing is impossible.
I also hope to meet people during this journey who are fighting against all kinds of adversity and to convey a positive message to them.
