My Travel Story

Hello! I have been given the wonderful opportunity to participate in a Therapy Abroad program. In May 2020, I will spend two-weeks in Belize! I will be shadowing various Speech-Language Pathologists as well as gaining observation hours that are required for my program. I will be able to have hands-on experience as well as one-on-one time with SLPs and other professionals, intercultural exchange, a better understanding of global issues, and a chance to help children with special needs and their families. It's always been a goal of mine to travel abroad and do volunteer work, and this is such a great way to do that in my career and help the population that I want to serve. Therapy Abroad will give me the opportunity to visit children with special needs in their own homes, as part of a small team consisting of SLPs, social workers and medical doctors. I am so excited and blessed to be given this opportunity to serve others in a way that I could never have imagined. I am asking for your help in achieving this goal!

  • Trip - Cancellation

    Therapy Abroad has decided to cancel the trip in May due to COVID-19. I will be refunding those who donated once I receive my payments from the organization. Thank you all for your love and support, I truly appreciate it.

  • November 4th

    My first payment of $500 is due on November 4th. I am hoping to raise at least $400 by this time. I am asking for your donation and help in reaching my first goal! Thank you!
