My Travel Story

Hi there !!!
So, with me fresh out of university and all, some might wonder 'aren't you going to pursue a career that fits your degree?' And yes, while I am one day hoping to find a job within the media industry as a screenwriter; I do also, as every student dreams,  want to travel the world a little more before I settle down completely.
Additionally, working abroad and being exposed to a different culture so immersively actually fits in perfectly with my future career choice(s) - knowing how Eastern and Western societies differ would actually lend some much needed accuracy and versatility to the fictional worlds I am hoping to one day expand upon and share through writing and/or film.
Since I was about 13 years old, I've been interested in travelling, particularly around Asia. If we're being honest it was more Japan - for nerdy, 13 year old reasons naturally (i'll just say anime it's okay). In more recent years, the interest has spread to places such as South Korea (it was the kpop there i said it okay), and along with this has come a desire to intergrate myself more fully into both lifestyle(s) and culture(s), rather than simply experiencing each place for a brief time as a tourist.
For example, whilst deciding whether or not to book this amazing experience, I was told about the fireflies that come out at night in the Cheongsu Gotjawal forest(s) found within Jeju Island, and the bustling street food markets that are open and day and night, full of amazing, unusual dishes that I absolutely can't wait to try!!
