My Travel Story

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be heading to Italy this summer to study abroad with NC State! This experience is once-in-a-lifetime, and I cannot wait to experience the impact I know my travels will have on my life. I will be staying and studying in Florence, and will be traveling on the weekends with my program! We will be taking trips to Pisa, Sorrento, Capri, Mount Vesuvius (yes, I will be visiting a volcano!), and more. I will be taking a History of the Italian Renaissance class and hopefuly an authentic Italian cooking class! Having never been able to leave the United States before, and going to a place I have always dreamed of, this experience is so meaningful to me. I am thrilled to bring everyone along on my adventure!

    Booked My Flight To Florence!
    I will be flying with a girl I met in my program from Charlotte on May 30th, landing on May 31st in Rome! After that, we are planning on taking the train into downtown Florence.
