My Travel Story

After 12 deployments with a special operations unit, coming home to a divorce, watching my kid get raised by another man, I need a long needed break. I took a 30 mile trip to clear my head prior and it was life changing. Sadly I only had 4 days off of work to do it. I want to raise money for a huge trip soon as my military time is done. The plan is to start at the beginning of the Appalachian Trail, hike to the finish and then turn around and hike all 2100 miles again. The money would go towards gear, food, and travel expenses to meet my daughter along the way. This is a spiritual journey to disconnect from society, and become one with nature.
