I have always been passionate about animals and helping them and this passion has grown ever since I did work experience at London Zoo almost three years ago. Since then I have had my heart set on volunteering abroad with one of Frontier's many conservation projects. I have chosen to lend a helping hand in Namibia, for two weeks, as part of their Big Cat conservation and sanctuary programme.
As part of the programme I will help conserve Namibia's precious wildlife by rehabilitating and caring for animals such as cheetahs, wild dogs, baboons, lions, and leopards as well as sheep, rabbits and other farm animals. This conservation project will be hard work and I will love every second of it.
For me this is a once in a life time opportunity and knowing that I have made a contribution in helping protect some of Africa's wildlife will be a reward in itself.
