My Travel Story

Please help me to fulfill my lifelong dream! I’m a student at University of Cambridge studying engineering; as well as this I am currently raising money for a trek to Machu Picchu in Peru in aid of Childreach International. It has been a dream of mine for some time to travel to Peru and complete this arduous trek- without this opportunity from Childreach International I might never have been able to do so. However, this isn’t about me. This is about the 60,000 children, around 7 different countries, that this charity is able to help each year- to give them the opportunity to realise their dreams as well.

Childreach International is an incredibly inspiring charity which helps children in deprived countries, with the aim of breaking down the barriers which often prevent them from fulfilling their potential- such that one day all children will have equal opportunity. I’m honoured to be representing them and would greatly appreciate your help in raising as much money as possible in order to truly make a difference to these children’s lives. For example; £3 pays for the safe delivery of a baby in India, £10 develops IT skills for 188 children and £50 provides 20 new mothers with maternal healthcare. We are very lucky to often be able to take these things for granted- I would love for this to be the case for everyone across the globe.
