My Travel Story

Growing up in Malaysia, I was captivated by the stories of Mesopotamia I learned in history class—the cradle of civilization where humanity first developed cities, laws, and culture. Modern-day Iran and Iraq, home to ancient sites like Persepolis and Babylon, hold a wealth of historical and cultural treasures I’ve always dreamed of exploring.

However, coming from a low-income Malaysian background, where many struggle to afford even basic necessities, international travel has always seemed out of reach. The estimated cost of this journey, including flights (around $800-$1,200), accommodations, travel insurance, local transport, and safety measures like hiring trusted guides, totals approximately $2,500-$3,000.

I’ve managed to set aside some hard-earned savings, but I still need help covering about 50% of the total expenses. With your support, I hope to turn this dream into reality, explore the birthplace of civilization, and gain a deeper connection to humanity’s shared heritage while ensuring a safe and enriching journey
