My Travel Story

Hey! My name is Michael and I am a College Student at GCU and a part-time English teacher. My major is in Education with an emphasis on ESL (English as a second language) And my goal is to try and volunteer as much time as possible teaching English for free in impoverished parts of different countries to underprivileged children who might benefit from an English education. However, financially I cannot afford the fees required to volunteer through some of the various organizations set in place. So I am accepting donations from like-minded people who would like to support free education around the world. To be clear, the money goes to the volunteer companies and to any expenses that are required but not included in the volunteer fees. These could include airport pick up, travel insurance, vaccinations. etc. The money that goes to the organizations supports school funding, school resources, meals for volunteers, and the day to day costs involved in running the programs. Nobody profits off the donations in any way. If you would like to do your own research on the companies I would like to work with they are called Maximo Nivel, Iko Ponno, International Volunteer HQ, Love Volunteers, Go Overseas, and many more. The donations will allow me to provide the kids with possibly life-changing education and gives them an actual competitive edge they might need to further their own lives by providing them with the chance to compete in a competitive job market inside and outside of their own countries. Some of these kids go on to become doctors and provide a tangible change in their own communities. So together we can provide a real life-changing experience to everyone involved.
