I am a Chef, student, parent, advocate, caregiver, small non-profit President and founder. My dream is to travel, becoming emersed in the culture of where ever I get to land. Going to Puerto Rico would connect me to my roots; as my father was Puerto Rican and is now gone (passed away). I have never been, however something tells me that I would feel right at home. Paris and London are meccas for gastronomy, one of my passions. I'd like to experience the culture by way eating my way through the bakery's and bistro's! Once again harkening back to my connection with my father as he was a Chef as well. I work a full time position at a mental health facility, I am also a student at a community college. When not working on school assignments I advocate for people struggling with addiction while experiencing homelessness. I have provided essential personal care items as well as sterile water and clean needles to lessen the chance of infection. I do it all because I want to make an impact and to mean something in this world. These trips, would allow me to take breaks in between all of the work, school, and advocacy. My finances are going into putting myself through school and living expenses. Stating that I am putting myself through school fills me with pride and humility. As I am the first in my generation to go to College, I am determined to reach the finish line.
