My Travel Story

All my life I have wanted to help others and this opportunity is everything to me. These children are born with cleft lips and/or palates that affect their ability to eat, breathe and simply fit in with society. My cousin has been doing this for 15 years and each year is more humbling than the next.  As a RN it is my turn to give back to these beautiful children. In May of 2020 I have the opportunity to travel to Colombia as assist on the medical team. This is 100% volunteer and I am responsible for my own travel expenseI will be taking over a week off from work to volunteer my time .
