My Travel Story

As you all may know earlier in the year a severe category 5 cyclone hit the pacific islands, the main areas effected were Fiji, Soloman Islands and Vanuatu, 16 people in total lost their lives, with many more injured and it caused $550 million NZ dollars in damage.

There are currently many organisations working on the clear up within the islands, but they are struggling with the lack of support and manpower.

I am taking a volunteer break and offer my support to one of the most effected islands, Fiji. This would be a mix of support within the local schools and construction work.

I am now fundraising over the coming months and then I will use the money to purchase textbooks and clothes for the local schools, the reminder of any funds will go to Vinaka Fiji.

I hope that you all agree that this is an area that is worth donating towards.
