Hello! My name is Sidney, I transfer to Central Michigan University last semester and I decided to join a CMU Faculty-Led Japan & South Korea study abroad program which explores Fashion & Interior Design program. This would impact my education because it will provide me with a unique opportunity to immerse myself in different cultures and gain hands-on experience in my field of study. Additionally, it will allow me to expand my professional network and learn from industry experts in Japan and South Korea.

I also hope I can make a difference in the community by understanding the elements require for high fashion and innovative interior design in these countries. This experience will not only enhance my academic knowledge but also help me develop a global perspective that I can bring back to contribute to the local community.

I have always been passionate about South Korea' and Japan's culture and I initailly wanted to travel there to immerse myself in their unique design aesthetics. I believe that experiencing these cultures firsthand will greatly enrich my understanding of fashion and interior design, allowing me to bring a fresh perspective to my future projects.

The funds will go to my program fees, airfare/ international flights, passport, local travel expenses and application fee! :)
