My Travel Story

With my wife Megan's 50th birthday fast approaching, she has always wanted to go to Europe, specifically Italy.  Early in our marriage, the ability to do so was taken away by our daughter being diagnosed with a rare illness that kept us not only close to home but spending significant sums of money to deal with her condition. Many years later the illness has come a long way and our daughter will join us on our adventures, but the funds have not caught up to allow for the trip.  Then just recently Megan had to have a pacemaker placed at only 49.  This just got serious folks!  I want to take Megan now while we can.

I am not one to ask others for help but if this works I am looking to add a monthly expense to pay it forward to others in similar situations. 

Traveling to me is the greatest gift you can give others.  The ability to see life in other countries and see that we are not all so different, but have unique experiences to share.   The link is to the planning presentation, not the final details.

  • Well Things Just Got Even More Complicated...and Expensive!

    As if making this trip happen was not cost-prohibited my wife at only 49 had to have a pacemaker implanted. Talk about a moment when you realize time is short and never put off doing today because tomorrow is not guaranteed. Thank you for helping us make this once in a life time experience happen.
