My Travel Story

I've thought long and hard about what I wanted to say here. We have talked about taking a trip to NY and DC for years now. Tristin has such a strong love for history it just fits. Everything about it captures his attention. It always has. Last year, he was offered an opprotunity to go on a school trip overseas (March 2017). After sitting down as a family we decided that trip would not be best. Thats when we started talking about what to do for his graduation and this trip came up. He's not really big into parties, never has been. (Unless we are talking about bowling for his birthday! He's always down for that) This trip has always been something he's wanted to do. We are going to give it to him! This kid is AMAZING. He is quiet, polite, a hard worker and he loves his family something firece! I said he was a hard worker... He goes to school and works 2 jobs. (one of which is seasonal, but he still does it.)

We thought that, instead of people sending him graduation gifts, donations towards his trip would be amazing! Any donation we receive will go towards his part of the trip, and any extra things he may want to do, extra nights, souviners, etc. We started this campaign early so we'd have time to work everything out. We have a year!!! (YAY!)

If you are able to send him some money, we thank you. If you are able to just send congratulations and well wishes, we thank you for that too. We appreciate each and every one of you and thank you for being in our lives!!

  • This Is It!

    This is it!
    We are here! WEEKS before graduation! (18 days to be exact!) Tristin is so excited! He's worked so hard! He's not sure what his future plans are, but thats okay. He still has his job at Whataburger and his Saturdays are spent working at Southern Raceway. Life is good.

    Just wanted to say thank you! Thank you for reading, thank you for offering support and thank you for donating. We are also thankful for the tips and ideas people have given us for this trip! We got info on cap and gown pictures last night! Wow. Times inching closer.
