Hi Im Brett Barron Whaitiri Reihana from Auckland New Zealand. I'm on a Spiritual Quest to visit my My Ancestral Land The Chatham Islands. To spread some of my Father's Ashes. My father passed away on the 14-9-23. After a battle with cancer. It was always our dream to visit our Ancestral Land, since I frist meet him at 35.Due to a severe Brain injury myself I could not travel, however I am now able to travel. I'll be travelling there when my dad's twin brother. This will be the first time that he'll be able to see where his mother grew up and visit Our Ancestral Burial sites, and Reconnect with our Moriori Ancestry. Our land also has contians the Cave where it is said the Moriori frist landed. These caves have not been visited for over 50 plus years due to Ancestral Land Rghts. I also will be Documenting our visit for family and those who are interested. My Dad, Uncle and Myself.
