I am a single mom who was rescued from an abusive relationship by my loving father. My father moved here from Minas Gerais Brasil over 30 years ago to build a better future for himself.  Doing so he left behind his sickly mother and one brother. Ever since coming to this country he has broken his back and has never given up. My father is one of the strongest people that I know. A few weeks after recuing my children and I from an abusive living situation my father got into a really bad accident. Due to the accident my father no longer had the funds to travel and see my sick grandmother. Ever since he has started healing from his accident he has been trying to build up enough funds to make the trip possible. My grandmother in Brazil gets sick very often and as we all know tomorrow is not promised. I would like to help my father make this trip possible. Unfortunately I am a single mom of five beautiful children. I cannot afford to help my father on my income. I would hate for my grandmother to pass without having both her sons. If anyone could help me accomplish this I will forever be grateful. My father is my best friend and a great dad so I feel that he deserves to see his mom even if it means it would be the last time he sees her.
