I am raising funds to travel to shimoni along the east coast of Africa to document something truly inspiring-the impact of local women who are protecting and restoring mangrove forests.
Mangroves are essential for climate protection, marine life and coastal communities, yet they are disappearing.
I want to capture their stories and create a photo series, interviews and a short documentary to bring their voices to the world.
Together, let's honor and amplify the women saving our Mangroves.
