During my time in Greece, I will be receiving private lessons from esteemed percussionists, performing in a chamber ensemble, and taking a course that teaches an in-depth curriculum of Greek music, including its origins, relevance, and influence on modern music! I will be leaving my experience with a new cultural perspective in mind, and will have the opportunity to bring what I have learned into my professional career as a performer. I cannot wait to be immersed in Greek culture for three entire weeks while learing about music-- something many of you already know I am so passionate about! Incorporating music study into my travels is a fantastic way for me to continue growing and developing as a student, musician, and person!
