Hello everyone, I am so excited about my trip to Kenya. I am asking for your support in helping me to fund my volunteering experience in Kenya in July 2020 through African Adventures. I am going with a group of other young people and we will be based in Nakuru in the Rift Valley working within some of the local communities to help on building projects. I'm really looking forward to my trip as I will also be volunteering within some unfunded government schools in Nakuru, helping in lessons teaching maths and english and also taking part in PE and sports coaching.  
              
I hear that the Kenyan children love football so it's a winner!!!

This is a great opportunity for me as living in the UK these opportunities are not rare in a society where we have access to free education. The children of Kenya are not so fortunate and an education is as important to their future as it is mine. I really want to help every child get the opportunities they deserve and this is my way of helping towards that.

So far I have been raising some funds through various raffles, selling clothes and personal items and I am running the 5k Colour Rush with family and friends. The aim of raising funds is to help towards the cost of this invaluable trip but to also be able to take some resources for the schools and children.
