The DIACOWID FOUNDATION  is a foundation in the West  Region  of Surriname  SurinamE, a former Dutch colony lies in South America and is also part of the Carribbean. Tbe foundation is established in the village Wageningen Suriname . It is in the rural parts of the country. .Our mission is to get better standards of living in the projects we are doing . We start with a music school for children and had a visit from percussionist Sam Soekram. He did a workshop and it was a succes. Our children were very enthousiast. We decided to do a project for kids in  the whole region, becouse the kids living in this erea hardly get a change to go to music lessons .And the local bands need upgrading .the main training is a month with three months extra classes. Sam Sookram lives in Wageningen Netherland  and also will do drugsprevention classes in the communities.We hope to get enough money to pay his airline ticket and also from two friend musicians who will help him doing the workshops . We will be very grateful and happy to make it happen .and looking forward for a succes. Thanking the Givers in advance
